388th District Court
- Each of the district courts in the County has jurisdiction over criminal and civil cases. The court sets hearings for pleas, arraignments, summary judgments, default judgments, pre-trial hearings and motions. The Court is headed by a State District Judge who is elected to a four-year term by the voters of El Paso County.

- Interpreters
- Starting October 1st it is now required that attorneys bring their own interpreters as the county will no longer provide them as frequently.
- Additional Information
- It is now required to schedule a hearing with the court for all Pre Trial requests. - - All initial cases involving children require the parents take the COPE class with the YWCA. Parents can contact the YWCA to schedule the class at 915-577-2530, ext. 468. The Court will not sign any Final Orders or Final Decrees without the parents proof that they took the COPE class.
