  • Welcome to the Hot Check Tracer system for El Paso County merchants!
  • Note: BEFORE you access hot check information, please download the Terms of Use Agreement, print it, fill in the required information and deliver it in person to County Attorney's Office located at 5th floor of County Courthouse.

  • Enter the Check Tracer Application Now.
  •  
  •  1. Open Internet Explorer
  •  2. Select Tools, then Internet Options from the menu bar at the top of the window.
  •  3. Select the Security tab.
  •  4. Click once on the Trusted Sites icon.
  •  5. Then click the Sites button.
  •  6. If checked, uncheck the box next to Require server verification for all sites in this zone.
  •  7. Type http://www.epcounty.com in the box and click the Add button.
  •  8. Click OK.
  •  9. Close and restart Internet Explorer.
  •  10. Navigate to www.epcounty.com/ca/hotchecks and click the link to Enter the Check Tracer Application.
