WHY: Investigation Continues
El Paso County Sheriff's Office is investigating an Unattended Death that occured on 12-23-07.
On 12/23/07 at approximately 8:45 p.m. Deputies conducted a traffic stop at about the 8100 block of Alameda & arrested a male subject who had outstanding warrants for Aggravated Robbery / Probation Violation. The male subject attempted to elude Deputies & resisted arrest. The male subject was transported to the Montana Station for processing. A short time later the male subject was found unresponsive with no signs of life.
The male subject was identified as 31 year-old Jorge Guerrero of El Paso, TX. He died at the scene.
Detectives from the El Paso County Sheriff's office are investigating this incident.
An autopsy has been ordered along with a toxicology report. The cause of death is yet to be determined.
