Shooting at 1200 block of Lakewood in Westway (Far west El Paso County, Texas) on  Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at approximately 6:30 PM.

"Detectives continue to talk to witnesses this mid morning.  As the case evolved overnight we suspect more individuals may have been involved in this incident.  I don't feel comfortable releasing additional information right now that may hamper us from catching those responsible for the crime, " said Sergeant Jim Belknap, Criminal Investigations Division, El Paso County Sheriff's Office.

Aggravated Robbery near the 12000 block of Socorro, Road on Monday, February 11, 2008 at approximately 10:33 PM.

"The focus continues to be a manhunt for a second suspect.  It will take some good old fashion police work to find him.  This a great case that started with Patrol Deputies being "Johnny on the spot."  We want to be able to determine if these two people may have committed several similar crimes that remain unsolved.  We don't want to jeopardize that opportunity right now.  The focal point is finding a criminal," said Rick Glancey, Director of Public Affairs, El Paso County Sheriff's Office.
