WHERE: Intersection of Flagger and Fort Apache (East Montana).

WHEN: Sunday, February 17, 2008 at approximately 2:47 PM

WHY: Under investigation.

Two young girls were riding in a golf cart on a dirt road.  They reportedly failed to yield the right of way in an attempt to cross Flagger and were struck by a female driver in a 2005 Honda Minivan.

The two girls (early teens) suffered bodily injuries.  The driver of the golf cart suffered leg injuries and her passenger suffered head injuries.  Both were transported to R. E. Thomason general Hospital. No condition report available.

The driver (single occupant) of the minivan didn't suffer any injuries.   

Investigation continues.
