Information:

On Sunday 04-12-08 at about 3:15 p.m., a 21 year old female was traveling westbound on Transmountain Rd. on her 2003 Honda CBR approaching a curve at mile post 20. The female driver lost  control of her bike unable  to control the motorcycle on the curve and drove off the south side of the roadway and onto the dirt median. The driver of Unit traveled approximately 204 feet on the median and struck a dirt berm which was in the middle of the median. She continued continued traveling an additional 145 feet and came to rest in the middle of the median (352 feet total). Special traffic Investigators were summoned to the scene.

The female driver was identified as 22 year old Trisha Fox (DOB: 04-13-86), who is also a soldier in the U.S. Army at Fort Bliss. 

The Victim was transported to Thomason Hospital by ambulance. The Victim sustained a fractured scapula, fractures to both arms and road rash throughout her body.

The Victim remains at Thomason Hospital in stable condition.

At this time speed is believed to be a factor and an investigation continues.
