WHY: INVESTIGATORS ASKING FOR ASSISTANCE IN IDENTIFYING SUSPECT
INFORMATION:
Vinton, Texas- Early Sunday morning 07-27-2008 at 1:08 AM, Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to the Circle N store located at 537 East Vinton in Vinton, El Paso County Texas in reference to an Aggravated Robbery that had just occurred. Deputies arrived moments later and met with the store clerk who told authorities the store had just been robbed. The store clerk told Deputies that a male subject entered the store and threw a large brick brick at him which struck the clerk on the lower left forearm. The store clerk told Deputies the subject proceeded to grab the cash register and pulled it off the counter. The store clerk tried to stop the subject but was unable to do so as the subject fled with the register.
Information obtained at the scene, revealed that the subject got into an early 1990`s Black Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck which drove off south on E. Vinton Rd. towards Doniphan.
The Robbery Suspect is described as a Hispanic male, clean shaven, early 20`s, about 5`4, thin build, was wearing a black shirt, black pants, and black shoes.

The El Paso County Sheriff's Office is asking anyone who recognizes the individual who committed the robbery in the surveillance video or knows any information pertaining to this crime -is urged to please call the Sheriff's Office at (915) 546-2280 or Crime Stoppers at (915) 566-TIPS (8477).
