INFORMATION:
Canutillo, TX- On Wednesday 08-13-2008 between 9:40-9:50 PM, AY CARAMBA Restaurant located at 6874 Doniphan, Canutillo, TX was burglarized. The break-in was made through the front door of the business which was captured on surveillance video. On 08-18-08 at about 11:15 am, a tip led Sheriff Deputies to the possible whereabouts of the person who was responsible for the break- in. The Sheriff Deputy who responded to the initial call conducted a follow-up investigation & made contact with the subject who resides in the 6800 block of First St. Canutillo, TX. Sheriff's Office Crimes Against Property Detectives were called in to interview the subject. After a brief investigation, the subject confessed to Detectives he had committed the break-in. He was identified as Carlos Caballero (29) of the 6800 block of First St. Canutillo, TX. He was charged and arrested for Burglary of Building. Caballero remains at the El Paso County Detention Facility under a $2,000 Bond.
