Information:
LOWER VALLEY- On Tuesday afternoon 08-26-08 at about 12:15 PM, Sheriff Deputies were patrolling the the area of the 13000 block of Grand River, El Paso County, TX. A Sheriff's Deputy observed an individual walking down the street he recognized as being one of El Paso County Sheriff's Office Most Wanted. Upon seeing authorities, the subject fled on foot into a residence nearby. As Deputies arrived at the residence, the subject exited through a side door of the home & again fled on foot. Deputies gave chase and caught up to the subject & took him into custody without incident. The subject was identified as Refugio Rocha Padilla (47) of the 200 block of Lehigh, El Paso, TX. Padilla was wanted on an outstanding criminal warrant for Criminal Trespass. He was booked and remains at the El Paso County Detention Facility under a $10,400 TOTAL BOND.
Padilla was featured on the August 24th, 2008- Sunday edition of the El Paso Times as one of the El Paso County Sheriff's Office "Most Wanted" which is where the Deputy recognized him from.
