BACKGROUND:

MARTINEZ is wanted in connection with the MURDER Hector Longoria.

On or about 04-02-2008, Raymundo Martinez, Oscar Barrera along with Adrian Madrid confront victim Hector Longoria in the Agua Dulce area located near Horizon. The suspects assault the victim with a bat & fists results in the death of Hector Longoria. The victim was transported in his own vehicle by the suspects to the desert area and buried. The suspects retained the victim’s vehicle where they transported it south to Mexico where they sold it to unknown person(s).

MARTINEZ has previous arrests for Prohibited Weapons & Possession of Marijuana. He is now on the run from Law Enforcement & is believed he may have fled to Mexico.

On 07-02-08, Sheriff's Office CID Detectives arrest Adrian Madrid (22) of the 13000 block of Sparks. He is booked for Murder under a $200,000 Bond.

On 07-08-08, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team executes a Murder / search warrant on Oscar Barrera (17) at his home in the 12500 block of Sombra Fuerte, El Paso, TX. EPSO SWAT takes him into custody & turns him over to CID Detectives.

CURRENLTY IN CUSTODY AT EPCDF UNDER $1,000,000 BOND

As of today 10-06-08, Suspect Raymundo Martinez (20) of the 600 block of Agua Dulce, El Paso County, Texas is still at-large & WANTED FOR MURDER- his whereabouts are unknown.

THE SUSPECTS ARE KNOWN TO TRAFFIC IN NARCOTICS.

Due to the recent success of Captured Fugitives listed on Crime Stoppers of El Paso "Most Wanted"-The El Paso County Sheriff's Office has initiated "MANHUNT MONDAY" which will feature one WANTED FUGITIVE every Monday.

"The subjects featured will be individuals who have been eluding capture in which the cold trail has grown warm"-"All cases will be featured on new found information or leads that are 48 hrs to 7 days old"-  said Deputy Jesse Tovar- SHERIFF'S OFFICE PIO.
