BACKGROUND:
CLINT, TX- Early Thursday morning 10-16-08 at 3:50 AM, Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to the 14000 block of Old Cuadrilla Road in Clint, TX reference to a disturbance. Deputies arrived minutes later and met with the Victim / Homeowner who told Deputies her ex-boyfriend / Suspect (who was still on scene) broke down the door to her home & proceeded to assault a male acquaintance of hers who was at the residence at the time. Deputies took the Suspect into custody.
The Suspect / Ex-boyfriend was identified as Edgar Rojero (30) and 300 block of N.W. Austin Fabens, TX. Deputies arrested & charged Rojero with BURGLARY OF HABITATION w/ INTENT TO COMMIT FELONY. Further investigation revealed Rojero had a protective order against him naming the Victim / Homeowner as the protected party. An additional charge was placed on Rojero for VIOLATION OF A PROTECTIVE ORDER.
It was later discovered Edgar Rojero did not act alone in this crime, as it was learned his brother Salvador Rojero was in fact involved in the break-in & also assaulted the victim's new boyfriend. Salvador fled in a 2000 Black Chevrolet Blazer prior to the Deputies arrival.
Salvador Rojero knows he is WANTED by Sheriff's Officials & has been eluding authorities. He has recently been spotted in Fabens, TX.
Salvador Rojero has been previously arrested for Possession of Marijuana, Aggravated Robbery, Assault x 2 (Family violence), Reckless driving, & multiple traffic warrants.

Callers will remain anonymous & may be eligible for a reward if the information provided leads to the apprehension of the individuals featured.
Due to the recent success of Captured Fugitives listed on Crime Stoppers of El Paso "Most Wanted"-The El Paso County Sheriff's Office has initiated "MANHUNT MONDAY" which will feature one WANTED FUGITIVE every Monday.
