The Manhunt is on for JAIME DOMINGUEZ.

DOMINGUEZ is wanted for the Offense of ASSAULT.

CLINT, TX- Early September 2008, Sheriff Deputies were called to the Clint exit (I-10 EAST EXIT 42) in reference to an assault. The Victim told Deputies he was out partying with two other friends & while driving home, his friend JAIME DOMINGUEZ pulled over at the Clint Exit. All 3 subjects then exited the vehicle when DOMINGUEZ & the other male subject suddenly proceeded to ASSAULT him, striking & kicking him for several minutes. The Victim was transported to the hospital via ambulance due to the severity of the injuries sustained in the assault.

The second subject involved in the assault was identified as JOSE CORDERO (24) of the 1200 block of Powell, Fabens, TX. He was arrested for this crime just a few days ago on 12-30-08. CORDERO has since posted the $49,000 BOND and is currently out of jail.

Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division (CID) Detectives have issued a warrant of arrest for JAIME DOMINGUEZ (22) who is wanted for the ASSAULT- $49,000 BOND.

DOMINGUEZ is known to drive several vehicles which include: a WHITE CADILLAC ESCALADE, a 99' RED PONTIAC passenger car, a WHITE CHEVROLET pick-up, a 91' RED CHEVROLET pick-up, a 2004 RED PONTIAC, & a BLACK CHEVROLET passenger car.

DOMINGUEZ is from the Fabens, TX area & is known to be a violent & dangerous individual.

EL PASO,TXLate Friday night 01-02-09 at 11:45 PM, Sheriff Deputies along with Officials from the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) conducted an inspection at  the "D-Club" located at 12821 Montana El Paso, TX where a “Rave” was said to be taking place.

Deputies found a large amount of patrons with no form of positive identification to prove age. Deputies issued a total of 64 Curfew violation citations to patrons found to be younger than 17 and inside the establishment with no parent or guardian. An additional 9 juveniles were also cited for consumption of alcohol by a minor which are issued when any detectable amount of alcohol is found on anyone under the age of 21.

TABC agents also issued multiple citations for violations they encountered. TABC will continue with an administrative investigation.

BACKGROUND:

CANUTILLO,TX- Late Friday morning at 11:20 AM, Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to the area of the 6700 block Doniphan in reference to an Aggravated Assault w/ a Deadly Weapon. Deputies arrived moments later and met with the Reporter / Victim who told Sheriff's Officials that he was confronted by an unknown Hispanic male who proceeded to strike him in the head with the buttstock of a rifle. The Victim told Deputies the subject ran off with in an unknown direction with the rifle.  The Victim sustained a laceration to his head.

Deputies in coordination with SO Dispatch Operators immediately commenced an intense search of the area looking for the subject said to be: a Hispanic male, early 20's, wearing a black color jacket, and blue jeans.

After an intense search for the suspect, Deputies received information on the possible whereabouts of the subject. At 11:55 AM, Deputies located a subject matching the description provided at a residence in the 200 block of Crystal Marie Canutillo, TX. Positive identification on the subject was made and he was placed under arrest.

The suspect was identified as RAMON SALGADO III (18) of the 200 block of Crystal Marie Canutillo, TX. He was charged with the offense of AGGRAVATED ASSAULT w/ a DEADLY WEAPON. SALGADO was booked and remains at the El Paso County Detention Facility under a $10,000 BOND.

WHAT: BURGLARY SUSPECT NABBED BY DEPUTIES
WHEN: Thursday, January 1, 2009 11:00 PM

WHERE: 12900 Block OF Barnard, El Paso County, TX

 WHY: INVESTIGATION CONTINUES

BACKGROUND:

SPARKS-  Late Thursday night 01-01-09 at approximately 11:00 PM, Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 12900 block of  Barnard, El Paso County, Texas, in reference to a Burglary of Habitation. Deputies arrived minutes later and met with the homeowner / Victim who told Deputies that he arrived home a few minutes earlier to discover that his home had been burglarized. 

The Victim told Deputies a 42" inch plasma television had been taken from the home. Further investigation determined entry into the home was made thru a bedroom window. Deputies also located several shoe impressions just outside the bedroom window.

After further investigation & following several leads, Deputies were led to an address in the 200 block Lehigh Ln. where a 25 year-old male suspect was taken into custody. CID Crimes against Property Detectives were summoned to the scene.  

Early Friday morning 01-02-09 after talking to the suspect in custody, CID Detectives charged the 25 year-old male with BURGLARY OF HABITATION.

He was identified as LUIS ALONSO MARTINEZ (25) of the 200 block of Lehigh El Paso County, TX. He was booked and remains at the El Paso County Detention Facility under a $5,000 BOND.

The 42" inch plasma television which had an estimated value of $1,000 was later recovered by CID Detectives.

EL PASO COUNTY, TEXAS- January 1, 2009 12:00 AM - Sheriff Richard Wiles was sworn in as Sheriff of El Paso County, TX. The event took place at Sheriff Office Headquarters located at 3850 Justice Dr. El Paso, TX.

Several family members, friends, employees & special guests were on hand in a standing room only area to witness history as Richard Wiles was sworn-in as Sheriff of El Paso County, TX by Judge David Guaderrama .

Some special guests in attendance included former Sheriff Jimmy Apodaca, District Attorney Jaime Esparza & Associate Judge from Anthony Ida Gardner.

After Sheriff Wiles was sworn-in to Office, Sylvia Aguilar was sworn-in and appointed Chief Deputy.
