The Manhunt is on for JORGE ACEVEDO.
ACEVEDO is wanted for the Offense of MOTION TO ADJUDICATE GUILT, & (8) counts of FORGERY FINANCIAL INSTRUMENT.
EL PASO, TX- Late 2005 / Early 2006, JORGE ACEVEDO went on a Forgery spree, using counterfeit checks resulting in thousands of dollars stolen from several local companies.
ACEVEDO's scheme began as he deceitfully posed as an independent contractor and was paid by check from each company. It is believed this is how he was able to ascertain the bank account numbers to the business accounts.
ACEVEDO has recently been spotted in our area as he remains on the run from Law Enforcement Officials.
ACEVEDO has previously been arrested for; FORGERY FINANCIAL INSTRUMENT, CREDIT CARD ABUSE, THEFT BY CHECK, FORGERY, THEFT OF GOVERNMENT PROPERTY, FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE & PAROLE VIOLATION.
Anyone who knows the whereabouts or has seen JORGE ACEVEDO or other fugitives featured on “MANHUNT MONDAY” is urged to call Crime Stoppers of El Paso at 566-TIPS (8477). Callers will remain anonymous & may be eligible for a reward if the information provided leads to the apprehension of the individuals featured.
