WHY: BAR CHECK OPERATION
INFORMATION:
EL PASO,TX- Late Saturday night 01-24-09 into early Sunday morning 01-25-09, Sheriff Deputies along with Officials from the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) & the U.S. Army Military Police AWOL Apprehension Section conducted bar checks at several East El Paso County establishments.
The Operation was deemed a success as there were 11 Arrests (1 Felony / 10 misdemeanor) and 14 citations as a result of the sting.
The Target locations included:
- TEQUILA BAR 4001 Desert Meadows Rd (Montana Vista)- RESULTS: 2 ARRESTS for Public Intoxication, 1 ARREST for Possession of Marijuana, 1 ARREST for outstanding criminal warrant for Theft
