WHY: ARRESTS MADE / INVESTIGATION CONTINUES

SAN ELIZARIO, TEXAS- Late Thursday night 02-19-09 at about 9:30 PM, Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a suspicious subjects call at the Cricket store located within the San Elizario Shopping Center at 11970 Socorro Rd., San Elizario Texas. Deputies were advised two suspicious male subjects were standing by the front doors of the business (the business was closed). Deputies searched the area and were able to locate the subjects matching the description given. Further investigation revealed there was damage to the front door of the business, to include the lock pad and frame.
Deputies were able to determine the same subjects in custody were the same subjects involved in the apparent break-in. Both subjects were charged and arrested for CRIMINAL ATTEMPTED BURGLARY OF BUILDING. One subject was identified as DANIEL GORDILLO JR. (17) of the 400 block of Jack Way Socorro, TX. The second subject was a 14 year-old male Juvenile. He was processed & turned over to the Juvenile Probation Department. The identity of the 14 year-old Offender will not be released because of this age.
