WESTWAY, TX- Early Tuesday morning 02-24-09 at about 7:00 AM, Sheriff’s Deputies were attempting to locate a WANTED FELON at a residence in the 1300 block of Malmo Westway, TX. Deputies were looking for wanted subject RODOLFO CUELLAR (18) who was wanted on 2 counts of Aggravated Assault w/ a Deadly Weapon.
Deputies met with the suspects father, mother & girlfriend at the residence and explained the reason they were there. All claimed not to have seen the wanted subject in some time and told Deputies he was not present at the residence. Consent to search the residence was sought and obtained. Deputies began to search the residence and while doing so heard noises coming from a bedroom. Deputies located the wanted subject hiding in a bedroom closet where he was arrested without incident.
Wanted subject RODOLFO CUELLAR (18) was taken into custody. The family members who tried to hide the suspect were also subsequently arrested for Hindering Apprehension or Prosecution. All are from the 1300 block of Malmo Westway, TX.

Thursday night 01-15-09 at about 7:15 PM, Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to the 900 block Antelope, Westway, TX 79835 in reference to a shooting. Deputies arrived and immediately made contact with the Reporters / Victims.
After a brief investigation, it was learned the Victims had been involved in a verbal argument with other individuals (suspects) at an undisclosed location. Shortly after the initial argument, the suspects drove to the Victims’ home where they allegedly shot several rounds towards the victims who were standing outside the house.
No one was hurt or struck by any bullets, however, several neighbors / witnesses confirmed hearing gunshots. Deputies immediately canvassed the area searching for the suspects involved.
