EL PASO, TEXAS- Early Wednesday morning, Sheriff Deputies received an anonymous tip on the whereabouts of a subject listed on the CRIMESTOPPERS "MOST WANTED" list. The tip led Deputies to a residence located in the 15000 block of Perry El Paso,TX. Deputies made contact with the residents and advised they were looking for wanted subject EDWIN JOSE QUINONES (46). Fugitive QUINONES surrendered to authorities and was taken into custody without incident.

EDWIN QUINONEZ (46) was wanted on an outstanding criminal warrant for THEFT OF PROPERTY o/$1,500 u/$20,000. QUINONEZ was booked at the El Paso County Detention Facility.

QUINONEZ of the 15000 block of Perry El Paso, TX- was featured as one of Crime Stoppers of El Paso's  "Most Wanted" in the Sunday, January 18, 2009 Edition of the El Paso Times.
