EL PASO, TEXAS- Sunday afternoon 03-22-09 at about 3:20 PM, Sheriff Deputies received an anonymous tip on the whereabouts of a subject listed on the CRIMESTOPPERS "MOST WANTED" list. The tip led Deputies to a residence in the 6700 First St. Canutillo, TX. Deputies made contact with the residents & advised they were looking for wanted subject RICHARD URIAS (21). Fugitive URIAS surrendered to authorities & was taken into custody without incident.

RICHARD URIAS (21) was wanted on an outstanding criminal warrant for AGGRAVATED ASSAULT w/ a DEADLY WEAPON. URIAS was booked & remains at the El Paso County Detention Facility.

URIAS of the 6700 block of First St. Canutillo, TX - was just featured as one of Crime Stoppers of El Paso's "Most Wanted" in this Sundays, April 22nd, 2009 Edition of the El Paso Times.
