EL PASO,TX- Earlier this week at about 4:20 PM, a Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a late model Chevrolet Tahoe at about the 11300 block of Rojas El Paso, TX. The reason for the stop was a moving traffic violation. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed approximately 100 pounds of marijuana and $18,000 in United States currency.
A male subject was taken into the custody and the vehicle was seized. The individual was later processed & booked at the El Paso County Detention Facility.
The identity of person arrested will not be release at this time as the investigation continues.
