  WANTED FUGITIVE:

ADAM MYERS

The Manhunt is on for ADAM MYERS.

MYERS is wanted for the OFFENSE of:

2 COUNTS – AGGRAVATED ASSAULT w/ DEADLY WEAPON $60,000 TOTAL BOND (2006 / 2009)

APRIL 2009- Sunday night 04-05-09 at about 7:10 PM, Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the area of the 1200 block of Zinn (Zinn Park) in Westway, TX in reference to an AGGRAVATED ASSAULT that just occurred.

Upon arrival, Deputies made contact with a 15 year-old male / Victim who was bleeding from his head. The Victim told authorities he was at the park with his friends sitting on the picnic table when suddenly several subjects exited a black vehicle parked in front of the Park. One of the subjects described as tall, thin, shaved head wearing an orange shirt approached the the Victim & asked him what his name was & which gang was he from. The Victim told Deputies the subject then lifted his shirt and got a crowbar from his pants and struck him on his head & then struck him again on his stomach with the object.

Further investigation by on scene Deputies confirmed the identity of the assailant as that of ADAM MYERS (20) of the 5100 block of Chromite El Paso, TX (Upper Valley).

MYERS claims to be a “SURENOS” Gang Member & allegedly assaulted the Victim for being a member of a rival gang.

Information received led Deputies to a residence in the 5300 block of Ridge El Paso, TX (Upper Valley). Deputies sought & obtained consent from the residents to enter & search the residence for the suspect. MYERS was not located & it was later learned authorities had just missed him by a mere 10 minutes.

MYERS was known to local Law Enforcement as a fugitive from justice who is “WANTED” for an unrelated AGGRAVATED ASSAULT in 2006 (EPPD case).

MARCH 2006- MYERS & several acquaintances assaulted several individuals during a confrontation outside an apartment complex located in the 8700 block of Norton El Paso County, Texas. The victims claimed the assailants used clubs, sticks and a knife during the multiple assaults. 

MYERS had originally been reported to have been hiding in Juarez, Mexico.

New information reveals MYERS has been involved in several stabbings while hiding in Juarez, Mexico. It is believed MYERS could have possibly there.

ADAM MYERS CONTINUES TO ELUDE CAPTURE & IS CONSIDERED ARMED AND DANGEROUS- KNOWN TO CARRY A KNIFE.

Anyone who knows the whereabouts or has seen ADAM MYERS or other fugitives featured on “MANHUNT MONDAY” is urged to call Crime Stoppers of El Paso at 566-TIPS (8477). Callers will remain anonymous & may be eligible for a reward if the information provided leads to the apprehension of the individuals featured.
