WEST EL PASO, TX - Late Wednesday morning 04-22-09 at approximately 10:50 AM, Strike Team Deputies received an anonymous tip on the whereabouts of a subject listed on the CRIMESTOPPERS "MOST WANTED" list. The tip led Strike Team Deputies to an apartment complex located at 213 Argonaut El Paso, TX. Deputies attempted to make contact with the residents knocking on the door for several minutes. After a few minutes wanted subject SALVADOR ACOSTA (29) emerged from inside. Fugitive ACOSTA surrendered to authorities & was taken into custody without incident.
SALVADOR ACOSTA (29) was wanted on multiple outstanding criminal warrants for 1-2.) 2 counts of THEFT OF PROPERTY o/$1500 u/$20000, 3.) CRIMINAL NON-SUPPORT, 4-5.) 2 counts of PROBATION VIOLATION, & 6-7.) 2 counts of FRAUDULENT USE or POSSESSION OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION. ACOSTA was booked & remains at the El Paso County Detention Facility.
ACOSTA of the 3400 block of Sacramento El Paso, TX - was recently featured as one of Crime Stoppers of El Paso's "Most Wanted" in the Sunday, April 5th, 2009 Edition of the El Paso Times.
