MONTANA VISTA- April 2009, Deputies were dispatched to Saenz Material & Handling Co. located in the 12700 block of Gambusino, El Paso County, Texas in reference to a theft of vehicle in progress. Deputies arrived & met with the Owner of the business / Victim who told authorities two of his work trucks (1994 Mitsubishi and 2001 Isuzu) had been driven off (towed) from inside the property through the side of the property (dirt area not fenced in). The Owner immediately questioned the driver towing the one of the vehicles who explained that he was flagged down by an individual claiming his vehicle was stuck in the sand. When directed to the location of the individual seeking help, the Owner recognized the subject to be ex-employee RAY PADILLA. The Owner went on to check the building to his business and found the front door to be unsecured. The Owner found several items missing from within the business which included a $1,200 Hewlett Packard Laptop, a $500 floor jack & other miscellaneous items. The Owner immediately called 911 but PADILLA managed to elude capture. Charges have since been filed against PADILLA.
PADILLA is also wanted for HARRASMENT in an unrelated case & remains in our area as he continues to elude capture.
