MANHUNT MONDAY FUGITIVE IN CUSTODY – 2nd MHM CAPTURE IN AS MANY WEEKS

 EL PASO, TX – Early Friday morning 07-31-09 at 9:00 AM, WANTED FUGITIVE ROSA BUENDIA turned herself in to Sheriff’s Officials. BUENDIA told authorities she has seen herself on television as MANHUNT MONDAYS Most Wanted Fugitive & was overwhelmed by the coverage & was tired of running. She was taken into custody, booked & remains at the El Paso County Detention Facility under a $20,000 BOND.

THEFT OF PROPERTY over $100,000 under $200,000-$20,000 BOND

BACKGROUND:

In November 2007- ROSA BUENDIA & an accomplice visited Hoy Fox located at 7200 Viscount, El Paso, Texas & submitted a loan application to purchase (2) vehicles,  a 2008 Infiniti worth $66,129.63 and a second 2008 Infiniti worth $60,000.00. The applications were approved & the vehicles were sold.

It was later discovered BUENDIA fraudulently used another woman's identity (from Illinois) to purchase both vehicles. BUENDIA was positively identified in a photo line-up by car salesmen.  Authorities attempted to catch up to BUENDIA & retrieve the vehicles but it was too late. BUENDIA successfully schemed her way in obtaining both vehicles with her deceitful methods.

BUENDIA knew she was wanted & remained on the run eluding capture. It was believed she remained in the El Paso, Texas area. BUENDIA was the 4th female to ever be featured on MANHUNT MONDAY.
