EL PASO COUNTY, TX– Early Sunday morning 08-23-09 at about 12:30 AM, Strike Team Deputies received information from an anonymous source as to the whereabouts of WANTED FUGITIVE OSCAR REZA. Strike Team Deputies had been searching for the fugitive for several days. REZA is a well known con-artist who deceived several El Paso businesses & was on wanted various FRAUDULENT / FORGERY offenses (4 felonies / 6 misdemeanors) and was also previously featured on the August 3rd, 2009 edition of MANHUNT MONDAY.
The tip led Strike Deputies to a night club located in the 1400 block of Lee Trevino. Deputies approached REZA outside the night club & attempted to take him into custody. REZA became combative in a desperate attempt to get away & put up a struggle resisting arrest. REZA was finally taken into custody & also charged with RESISTING ARREST.
