EPCSO STI EL PASO COUNTY, TX-  Early Friday morning 09-11-09 at about 1:00 AM, Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Ellsworth and Horizon in reference to a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Deputies arrived and found two vehicles on the roadway with heavy damage. The vehicles involved were a white 1991 Honda Accord and a 2004 gray Ford F150. Deputies made contact with the male driver (sole occupant) of the Ford pick up and found him not to be seriously injured but was highly intoxicated. The driver of the Honda suffered serious injuries & had to be extracted out of his vehicle by Horizon FD using the jaws of life. Both were transported by Life ambulance to University Medical Center.
