The Manhunt is on for the DESANTIAGO’s (UNCLE & NEPHEW).

EP SHERIFFF patch color small2 EL PASO, TEXAS- This week’s Manhunt Monday Fugitives are two individuals who were previously featured on  “MANHUNT” in February 2009 as the DESANTIAGO FAMILY. One of the fugitives- JACOB DESANTIAGO JR. was caught 2 months after the DESANTIAGO’s were featured but JACOB SR. & JUAN remain at large. As of late, several tips on the DESANTIAGO’s whereabouts have been provided to Law Enforcement as the once cold trail has grown warmer.

JACOB DESANTIAGO SR.:  In 2005, JACOB DESANTIAGO Sr. was arrested for Assault & Failure to ID - Fugitive from Justice. In 2007, DESANTIAGO Sr. violated the terms of his probation. He knows he is wanted and continues to elude capture.

DESANTIAGO SR.'s Criminal History includes arrests for: ASSAULT- FAMILY VIOLENCE, CRIMINAL TRESPASS, EVADING ARREST, POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA, PROBATION VIOLATION, THEFT,  multiple arrests for FAILURE TO APPEAR.

JUAN DESANTIAGO: In January 2009, Deputies were working a traffic stop on a vehicle bearing a fictitious license plate in the 1800 block of Leroy Bonse El Paso, TX. The vehicle had 3 occupants, JUAN DESANTIAGO was in the backseat. During initial contact with Deputies, DESANTIAGO provided a false name to authorities. Marijuana was later discovered in the vehicle. DESANTIAGO managed to flee on foot escaping into the darkness of the residential neighborhoods. A warrant has been issued for the arrest of JUAN DESANTIAGO offenses of Possession of Marijuana, Evading Arrest or Detention, Fail to Identify/Fugitive & is wanted for various other offenses.

JUAN DESANTIAGO's Criminal History includes arrests for: ASSAULT causing bodily injury, CRIMINAL MISCHIEF, EVADING ARREST, and DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED.
