SHERIFF’S OFFICE TO HOST COMMUNITY AWARENESS CENTER DURING UTEP HOMECOMING FESTIVITIES 10/03

EL PASO, TEXAS- In conjunction with the UTEP Homecoming festivities, the Sheriff's Office is cordially inviting the public to join us at the mobile Sheriff’s Office Community Awareness Center this Saturday, October 3, 2009, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the University of Texas at El Paso (corner of Wiggins and University, Leech Grove). The Community Center station will feature the Sheriff's Office Command Post & will showcase several other SO vehicles. Information on office programs such as the Sheriff's Office Explorer Post 5 will be on hand as well as the ever popular Amber Card Registration Program. Parents can bring their Children & have their picture and fingerprints taken. Sheriff’s Office Command Staff will be grilling hotdogs & hamburgers. Cold refreshments will also be available. This is a NON-ALCOHOLIC event.
