EL PASO COUNTY, TX- Late August 2009, the El Paso County Sheriff’s office Strike Team received a complaint from a concerned citizen regarding the illegal dumping of trash at the intersection of Desert Storm Road and Montana. Shortly after meeting with the citizen, Strike Team Deputies commenced an investigation on the reported dump site. Deputies rummaged through the trash at the dump site and located several items with information that provided several investigative leads. Strike Team Deputies photographed the trash dumped and collected evidence. Through information located at the scene, Strike Team Deputies located a person of interest at the 2200 block of Robert Wynn. A male subject was questioned and later provided a confession admitting that he dumped the trash at the location. The subject was identified as SHAUN PEAVY (31).
September 2009- Strike Team Deputies obtained a warrant of arrest for SHAUN PEAVY (31) for ILLEGAL DUMPING Over 5 - Under 50 pounds. On Monday, October 5, 2009, after several attempts in trying to locate PEAVEY- Strike Team Deputies located SHAUN PEAVEY who was arrested and booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility.
