Fabens, TX- Wednesday afternoon October 21, 2009, Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the area of the 200 of NE Eubanks in Fabens, Texas in reference to horses in residential areas. Deputies arrived and met with reporters who told authorities 2 horses were found wandering the streets of Fabens, TX. Deputies & residents attempted find anyone in the area looking for horses but could not locate the owners. The horses did not appear to be in bad health or injured. An community resident by the name of Ricardo Trejo Archuleta contacted authorities stating he owned a ranch nearby & was willing to care for the horses until the rightful owners come forward.
