EL PASO, TEXAS– This week’s MANHUNT MONDAY Most Wanted Fugitive is a Latin Kings gang member wanted in a highly publicized March 2009 incident where the offender walked onto a local high school campus & threatened two high school students with a knife. The target is JARRED JUAREZ (18) of El Paso, TX.
MARCH 2009- JUAREZ was found to be trespassing on the campus of Eastwood High School
located at 2430 McRae engaged in a confrontation with students enrolled in the campus over a traffic incident. In the course of the confrontation JUAREZ yielded a knife at students in a threatening manner. The incident occurred in the southwest section of the campus student parking lot which is parallel to McRae Blvd. JUAREZ quickly fled the scene as he learned students had called police. A short time later EPPD Officers apprehended JUAREZ during traffic stop in the 1000 block of Zaragosa El Paso, TX. JUAREZ was arrested & was found to be carrying the knife at the time of his capture. JUAREZ had been issued a criminal trespass warning weeks prior to the incident (02/27/09) by campus security. All El Paso County school campuses are state recognized Weapons Free/ Drug Free Zones.
JUAREZ has failed to show for court for the mentioned case & the 409th District Court has issued a warrant for his apprehension.
JUAREZ is a confirmed Latin Kings gang member & was just featured this weekend (05/16)as one of the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office MOST WANTED. JUAREZ is said to remain in the Borderland hiding with family & friends eluding capture. 
Sheriff’s Officials are asking the public - if anyone has seen or has any information on the whereabouts of JARRED JUAREZ to please contact the Sheriff’s Office (915) 546-2280 or Crime Stoppers of El Paso at 566-TIPS (8477). Callers will remain anonymous & may be eligible for a reward if the information provided leads to the apprehension of the individuals featured.
