FBI SEEKS SUSPECT IN BANK ROBBERY
A man with a black handgun robs a local credit union, ,making this the Crime Stoppers “Crime of the Week.”
On Friday, May 21st, about 3:30 in the afternoon, a man walked into the El Paso Employees Credit Union located at 9305 North Loop. The man was wearing a surgical mask over his face and was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun when he approached a teller and demanded money. At the same time he handed over a grocery bag to put the money in. The teller feared for his life and handed over an undetermined amount of money. The suspect, who spoke only Spanish, fled on foot and was last seen running east on North Loop. This bank robbery marks the sixth for 2010.

- Hispanic male, in his late 30s
- 5’10” tall, medium build with brown eyes and dark complexion
- Wearing a blue hat with an American flag emblem, white long sleeve shirt over a gray hooded shirt, blue jeans and black shoes with white soles
- He work a surgical mask, clear safety glasses, and work gloves
- Carried a black handgun, possibly semiautomatic, in his right hand
- Spanish speaker
