EL PASO, TEXAS – Sheriff’s Office Crimes Against Persons Detectives are looking for a Suspect who escaped from custody overnight resulting in this MANHUNT SPECIAL EDITION. The target has been identified as JOSE ANTONIO ESTRADA (22) of El Paso, TX
DECEMBER 2012 On 12-04-2012, Sheriff’s Officials received information in reference to possible stolen truck tractors. Further investigation led Officials to a residence in the 600 block of Tortola San Elizario, TX where the truck tractors were located & had been partially dismantled. Three subjects were placed under arrest & taken into custody.
Amongst the arrested were JOSE ANTONIO ESTRADA & accomplices LUIS RODRIGUEZ & EVER GURROLA-PANTOJA. At about 7:00pm (12/04), after Investigators completed interviewing the subjects, it was discovered Suspect ESTRADA had broken from his handcuffs & escaped from the Sheriff’s Montana Patrol Station. The Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue Team was activated; however the search for ESTRADA proved unsuccessful.
A warrant of arrest has been issued on JOSE ANTONIO ESTRADA for the offenses of ESCAPE, THEFT OF VEHICLE (2 Counts) over $20,000 under $100,000 & an outstanding criminal warrant for UNAUTHORIZED USE OF VEHICLE. JOSE ANTONIO ESTRADA knows authorities are looking for him & remains on the run eluding capture. The other two subjects were booked in the El Paso County Detention Facility under the same charges excluding the escape charge.
