EL PASO TEXAS- On 2-13-13, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division (VINTON STATION), in conjunction with Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office Traffic conducted a Stationary Vehicle Check Operation early morning at the 400 block of E. Vinton Rd., Vinton, TX. The stationary vehicle check yielded a total of 74 citations with Fail to Maintain Financial Responsibility being the most significant compared to no operator’s license on an SVC on February 1st.

The purpose of stationary vehicle checks are to ensure that citizens within El Paso County, operating motor vehicles upon public roadways, are complying with applicable safety related Traffic Laws, license requirements, and financial responsibility requirements.
