EL PASO TEXAS- On 02-15-13 at approximately 11:40 AM, a Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to the 500 block of Tikal in San Elizario, TX, in reference to a civil call involving the repossession of a vehicle.
Upon arrival, the Deputy met with the parties involved at the reporter’s residence and at that time asked the parties and reporter for their identification as he proceeded to investigate. The reporter became defiant refusing to identify herself to the Deputy.
The Deputy informed the reporter she was under arrest for Fail to Identify and to return as she walked away. The reporter refused to be restrained and attempted to assault the Deputy at which time the reporter’s sister, also on scene, stepped in to keep the reporter from being restrained by handing her a three year old child during the struggle. The reporter identified as Aurelia Bautista and sister/Maria Martinez-DeDiaz were both arrested and charged with Endangering a Child and additional charges.
