El PASO TEXAS- The El Paso county Sheriff’s Office Strike Team received information on a  the whereabouts of a fugitive wanted for Aggravated Assault Family Violence involving the stabbing of a relative that occurred June of this year.  The subject was eluding local authorities until 09/17/13 when the Strike Team commenced surveillance and Fugitive/Jonathan Munoz was apprehended at the 12800 block of Cozy Cove in El Paso County Texas. 

During the course of the investigation, the subject and others were seen leave the 1700 block of Zaragoza where they gathered at a residence located on Cozy Cove.  Strike Team Deputies, with S.W.A.T. summoned to the scene, apprehended Munoz after the house was surrounded and Munoz tried to once again elude authorities.  Munoz was featured as one of Crime Stoppers Most Wanted on June 14, 2013.  Munoz has an extensive criminal history and is known to become violent.
