EL PASO TEXAS- The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office was on the hunt for Fugitive Laura Gonzalez, a known local con-artist wanted for theft charges and other criminal warrants, until her capture this evening at Van Buren & Piedras by Crimes Against Property Detectives based on a tip. The Sheriff’s Office initiated an investigation in December of 2012 after a victim reported jewelry and other items missing from her home. Fugitive/Gonzalez was hired back in 2010 by the victim to assist her with housekeeping until Gonzalez was not seen or heard of.
Gonzalez’ criminal warrants also stem from a fraudulent catering service back in July & August of 2009 known as the “Once Upon a Time Princess Party”. Gonzalez was featured on Manhunt Monday & Crime Stoppers Most Wanted wanted then for 3-Counts for Deceptive Trade Practice and Resisting Arrest. Gonzalez’ brother, Gabriel Trejo was arrested on 03/27/13 for Theft o/$1,500-u/$20k after Trejo failed to complete landscape for the same victim.
