The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office will have a graduation ceremony at El Dorado High School for this year’s second Basic Detention Officer Class. The ceremony will be on Friday June 20th at 1:30pm. These 16 graduates went through a challenging 7 week academy. These cadets also had a 100% passing rate on their state exam.

***Following the graduation ceremony, Sheriff Wiles will be having a press conference to talk about the implementation of the 12-hour shift for the Detention Officer personnel and jail staffing changes which will result in significant cost savings***
