SHERIFF RICHARD WILES AND THE EL PASO COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE INVITES LOCAL TEENS AGES 13-18 WITH AN INTEREST IN LAW ENFORCEMENT TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 2015 YOUTH ACADEMY.

What: Youth law enforcement academy.

Where: Sheriff’s office region viii training academy

12501 Montana Ave.

When: June 29th – July 2nd, 2015

Time: 8:00am – 12:30pm

Topics discussed will be from various sections within the sheriff’s office.

Free to all participants

Youth academy is open to teens ages13-18.

All participants will be asked to provide their own transportation to and from the training academy.

If a person has reached the age of 18 and has graduated from high school they will not be eligible for the youth academy, but may enroll in the adult citizens academy.

Applications will be accepted on a first come first served basis.

Class size is limited

applicants will be contacted to confirm their enrollment/acceptance.
