El Paso, TX - The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office responded to mile marker 20, eastbound, on Transmountain Road in reference an 18-wheeler rollover Monday, November 16th, 2015 at 4:30 pm.

Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrived at mile marker 20 on Transmountain Road, and discovered that an 18-wheeler had rolled over and was blocking traffic. High winds are believed to have caused of the rollover.

Two passengers were in the 18-wheeler at the time of the accident, and were extracted without life threatening injuries. One passenger was transported to a local area hospital for treatment. No other vehicles or parties were involved

Sheriff's Office Special Traffic Investigators responded to the accident. Transmountain Road was closed east bound for approximately three hours.

No further information will be released at this time as this is an ongoing investigation.
