El Paso, TX - The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Jail Annex conducted its annual “Christmas Angels,” program to bring an early Christmas to those in need.

Names of children and their holiday wish lists were collected from local schools, and the “Christmas Angels” program enables the staff to purchase the gifts.

The gifts were prepared and delivered by detention officers and staff from the Jail Annex.

Detention personnel suited up for the delivery as Santa Clause, and his elves.

A total of 167 gifts were delivered to the children of the Region 19 Headstart Program in Montana Vista and Red Sands Elementary School.

This marks the 12th year the “Christmas Angels” program brings Christmas cheer to the children of the County of El Paso.
