EPCSO DEPUTY ATTENDS “RANK AND FILE FORUM” IN WASHINGTON D.C.

An El Paso County Sheriff’s Office deputy attended the  United States Department of Justice, Community Oriented Policing Services, “Rank and File Forum in Washington, D.C. on Friday, April 22nd, 2016.

                The forum focused on Officer Safety and Wellness, Community and Police Relationships, and strategies for implementing Task Force recommendations.

                Ronald L. Davis Director of the Office of Community Oriented Policing Services commended Sheriff Richard Wiles on sending Deputy Josie Ramirez to the forum. Davis notes that Deputy Ramirez’s participation and input greatly contributed to the success of the forum as well as the impression she made on both Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch and Deputy Attorney General Sally Q. Yates with the quality of ideas she shared at the forum.
