EL PASO COUNTY SHERIFF RICHARD D. WILES ANNOUNCED AS GRAND MARSHAL FOR 2018 NORTHEASTER PARADE

El Paso, TX – On Thursday, February 08, 2018, the NorthEaster Parade Committee announced the selection of Sheriff Richard D. Wiles as the Grand Marshal for the 2018 NorthEaster Parade. In recognition of his 36 years of service to the El Paso community corresponding with the parade official theme; “First Responders “R” Super Heroes.”

Sheriff Wiles has served his community as a Firefighter, Patrol Officer, Detective, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain, Deputy Chief, Assistant Chief, Interim Chief of Police, Chief of Police and now as El Paso County Sheriff.

Sheriff Wiles and his children have been a part of the parade for many years as spectators, participants and this year as the Grand Marshal.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Northeaster Parade and we look forward to celebrating our first responders, and the Easter holiday with everyone in attendance on Saturday, March 31st, 2018.

The parade will begin at 10:00 am at the intersection of Hercules Ave. and Diana Dr. and will end at the Northpark Mall at the intersection of Dyer St. and Diana Dr.
