El Paso, Texas - Sheriff Richard D. Wiles and the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office hosted a graduation ceremony for the Peace Officer Class 18-1, on Friday, March 8, 2019.

Sheriff Wiles also presented our community partners Angel Gomez and Operation H.O.P.E. with an Honorary Deputy recognition, recognizing Mr. Gomez, his family, and their volunteers for the work they do in our community. They lend a helping hand to many throughout the year by organizing food drives, backpack and school supply drives, fundraisers for medical expenses, and countless other projects.
