MOST WANTED INDIVIDUAL

El Paso, TX – On Wednesday, April 17, 2019, El Paso County Sheriff’s Office deputies assigned to the Fugitive Apprehension and Warrants Section and Clint Patrol Station arrested a Most Wanted individual in Fabens, Texas.

 

Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted an investigation at a residence located in the 300 block of 6th St. following an anonymous tip received on the location of Ignacio Sosa.

 

Deputies made contact with the homeowner and they were advised Sosa was on the property. As deputies attempted to make contact with Sosa, he proceeded to flee on foot to avoid arrest or detention.  After several failed attempts to flee, he was taken into custody and booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility.

 

Sosa, age 44, was wanted for Aggravated Assault w/Deadly Weapon resulting in a 40-year sentence out of the 205th District Court. Additionally, he was charged with Evading Arrest/Detention and Resist Arrest/Search or Transport.

 

Sosa was previously featured as WANTED by the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office with Crime Stoppers of El Paso.
