SHERIFF’S OFFICE ARRESTS THREE INDIVIDUALS FOLLOWING ROBBERY INVESTIGATION

 

 

June 4, 2019

 

El Paso, TX – On May 27, 2019, Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 12000 block of Eastlake Blvd. in reference to a robbery.  Upon arrival, deputies were advised that the four suspects had fled the scene in a Lincoln passenger. Deputies located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Rojas Dr. and Eastlake Blvd.

 

Deputies discovered during the traffic stop that the vehicle was only occupied with two of the four suspects, Jose Alberto Orozco, age 24, and Julian Rizo Campa, age 17. Through the course of the investigation, deputies discovered the other two individuals had been dropped off at a residence after the robbery had occurred.

 

As a result of the traffic stop, Orozco was booked for Possession of Marijuana <2oz, Possession of Control Substances PG2<1Gram and Unlawful Carry of Firearm. Campa was booked for Possession of Control Substances PG2<1gram.

 

A follow-up investigation was conducted and detectives identified Alejandro Galindo, age 17, as the individual responsible for the robbery.

 

 On Monday, June 3, 2019, Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested Galindo for Theft of Property >=$100<$750 and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.  

 

All three individuals were booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility.
