SHERIFF’S OFFICE ARRESTS WANTED INDIVIDUAL

El Paso, Texas – On Monday, May 18, 2020, El Paso County Sheriff’s Office deputies assigned to the Fugitive Warrants Apprehensions Section conducted an investigation that led to the arrest of a wanted subject.

Deputies received information on the possible location of Arturo Martinez, age 34 at a motel located on the 6300 block of Montana Ave. Upon arrival, deputies attempted to make contact with Martinez further investigation determined he had fled the motel through the back window of his motel room.

Additional information, redirected deputies to Martinez’s home located in the 5300 block of Flower St. Upon arrival at the residence, deputies observed and identified Martinez. He was taken into custody and booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility for an outstanding warrant for Injury to Child/Elderly/Disabled Individual with a $100,000 bond.
