SHERIFF’S OFFICE INVESTIGATION RESULTS IN ARREST

El Paso, TX – On August 11, 2020, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office responded to a robbery that occurred at the Pull-A-Part salvage yard located at 12000 Montana.

As a result of the investigation, Efren Rico Ramos, age 29 was identified as the offender, Ramos, in the course of committing the theft of catalytic converters, caused bodily injury to an employee of the business.

On August 14, 2020, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office arrested Ramos at the 11000 block of Sun Stone in Northeast El Paso. He was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility for Robbery with a $10,000 bond.

A subsequent investigation led to additional information regarding the unlawful purchase and sales of regulated metals. Anyone with information related to the unlawful purchase or sales of regulated metals (catalytic converters) is asked to contact the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office at 915- 856-4875 or 915-538-2291.
