TIP LEADS TO ARREST OF INDIVIDUAL FOR UNAUTHORIZED USE OF VEHICLE
January 29, 2021
El Paso, TX – On January 28, 2021, El Paso County Sheriff’s Office deputies assigned to the East Montana Patrol Station received a tip on an open investigation regarding a vehicle theft that occurred on May 5, 2020.
As a result of the information received, deputies located the stolen vehicle at a residence on the 4600 block of Turf. Investigators made contact with William Parlier, age 56, and he subsequently authorized deputies to conduct a vehicle check. The vehicle check determined the passenger van was the same vehicle stolen on May 5, 2020.
Parlier was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility for Unauthorized Use of Vehicle with a $10,000 bond.

January 29, 2021
El Paso, TX – On January 28, 2021, El Paso County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a residence located in the 6800 block of First St. in reference to a burglary of habitation in progress.
Upon arrival, deputies met with the victim and they were advised the offender was still inside the residence. Deputies made entry into the residence and they located the offender hiding inside a restroom.
As a result of the investigation, Roman Griego, age 24, was found in possession of jewelry, watches, cellphones, wallets, bags, electronics, U.S. and Mexican currency, and various other household items belonging to the victim.
Griego was taken into custody and booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility for Burglary of Habitation, Fail to ID, and Harassment of a Public Servant totaling $25,500 in bonds.

SHERIFF’S OFFICE ARRESTS INDIVIDUAL FOR CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
January 28, 2021
El Paso, TX – On January 2, 2021, at approximately 7:30 p.m. El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Deputies, responded to the 250 block Ancroft, El Paso County, Texas in reference to subject(s) inside of a home under construction.
The responding deputies stopped a passenger car leaving the construction site and during the course of the investigation determined that the suspect Enrique Lugo IV had damaged the interior of the home under construction, Lugo was arrested for Criminal Mischief over $750 and under $2,500 and booked in the Downtown Detention Facility.
The Sheriff’s Office would like to remind the public to call 9-1-1 or (915) 832-4408 and report suspicious activity around construction sites that are not consistent with normal construction hours and real estate showing times.

El Paso, TX – On January 23, 2021, El Paso County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to an auto parts yard located at 13300 Montana Ave. in reference to a theft in progress.
Upon arrival, deputies located and made contact with Gregory Parlier, age 34, who was hiding inside the business. Additionally, Parlier was in possession of a tool bag and auto parts belonging to the business. Subsequently, warrants were obtained for Criminal Trespass, Possession of Controlled Substance PG 2>=4G<400G, and Possession of Criminal Instruments.
On January 26, 2021, deputies conducted an investigation and located Parlier at a residence located on the 13200 block of Boots Green. Parlier was taken into custody and booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility for Criminal Trespass, Possession of Controlled Substance PG 2 >=4G<400G, and Possession of Criminal Instruments with a bond totaling $12,500.

El Paso, TX – The El Paso County Sheriff's Office is requesting assistance from the community in locating Nathanial Dean Baker.
On January 23, 2021, Baker absconded from the El Paso Multi-Use Facility located at 1700 Horizon Blvd. Baker left the facility and his whereabouts are now unknown. He is now wanted on a Parole Violation and an additional charge of Sex Offenders Duty to Register is forthcoming. His sex offense is for Child Molestation in the 2nd Degree, the victim being a 12-year-old female and is currently on parole for Fail to Comply Sex Offenders Duty to Register Life/Annual.

El Paso, TX – The El Paso County Sheriff's Office is requesting assistance from the community in locating Jose Gerardo Romero.
Romero failed to report to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Sex Offenders Registration and Tracking Unit within the specified time for his 90-day verification and a warrant for Fail to Comply Sex Offenders Duty to Register was issued. He is a registered sex offender following convictions of Criminal Sexual Contact of a Minor 2nd Degree, Attempt to Commit Enticement of a Child, and Aggravated Burglary out of the State of New Mexico, the victim being an 11-year-old female.

El Paso, TX – The El Paso County Sheriff's Office is requesting assistance from the community in locating Danny Arzola.
Arzola was released from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Ramsey Unit in Rosharon, Texas on January 11, 2021, he was scheduled to arrive in El Paso, Texas and notify TDCJ Parole of his arrival and report to Halfway House at 1700 Horizon Blvd. He never reported to the facility and a parole violation warrant was issued, additional charges are forthcoming.
He is a registered sex offender for the offense of Aggravated Sexual Assault out of the State of Texas, the victim being a 13-year-old female and is currently on parole for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration.

UPDATE – On December 22, 2020, Johnathan Andrew Alvarez pleaded and was sentenced to 23 years for Intoxication Manslaughter.
UPDATE - April 22, 2019
Further investigation has revealed the defendant, in this case, is identified as 23-year-old Jonathan Alvarez. Alvarez was arrested and booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility for Intoxication Manslaughter with a bond of $800,000.00. The investigation remains ongoing, no other information is available at this time.

UPDATE - April 20, 2019
On April 19, 2019, at approximately 11:30 pm the driver of the silver vehicle was pronounced deceased due to the injuries sustained at the crash. The decedent is identified as 51-year-old Heriberto Santillana. Santillana was a teacher with Fabens ISD.
The investigation remains ongoing, no other information is available at this time.

El Paso, TX – On April 19, 2019, at approximately 2:00 pm Sheriff’s Office Special Traffic Investigators were dispatched to the 18800 block of TX HWY 20 in reference to a Motor Vehicle Crash. The investigation revealed a Maroon Chrysler 200 was traveling westbound on TX HWY 20 when it collided with a White Dodge Ram Pickup that was turning northbound on Oil Mil. After the initial crash, the Maroon Chrysler 200 veered onto the eastbound lanes of travel and collided head-on with a Silver Suzuki Forenza. A total of three occupants were transported to the hospital with unknown injuries. The investigation continues.
