EL PASO COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE DETENTION FACILITIES TO RESUME VISITATION

El Paso, Texas – Effective Saturday, April 10, 2021, visitation will resume at the Downtown Detention Facility and Jail Annex.

The Sheriff’s Office will implement the following measures to ensure the safety and well-being of personnel, the public, and inmates.

· ALL visitors entering the facility will be encouraged to wear a face mask at all times during the visit.

· ALL visitors must utilize and observe social distancing while waiting to enter the facility and while inside the facility.

· Visitation areas will be at half capacity and every other visitation booth will be used to ensure social distancing.

· Only two children per visitor will be allowed on Children’s Day and approved holidays. (First Saturday/Sunday of the month)

From 8:00 am to 11:00 am even floors (4th, 6th, 8th, 10th)

Saturday AM

From 8:00 am to 11:00 am / even pods (200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1200, 1400 and 1600)

Saturday PM

From 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm odd floors (3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 11th)

Saturday PM

From 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm / odd pods (100, 300, 500, 700, 900, 1100, 1300, 1500, and clinic)

Sunday AM

From 8:00 am to 11:00 am odd floors (3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 11th)

Sunday AM

From 8:00 am to 11:00 am / odd pods (100, 300, 500, 700, 900, 1100,1300, 1500 and clinic)

Sunday PM

From 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm even floors (4th, 6th, 8th, 10th)

Sunday PM

From 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm / even pods (200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1200, 1400 and 1600)

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office continues to work with medical staff to implement necessary procedures and provide equipment to limit the outbreak of the virus in the workplace and within our inmate population.
