SHERIFF’S OFFICE LAUNCHES REMOTE VIDEO VISITATION

El Paso, TX – The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with Global Tel Link (GTL), is now offering remote video visitation at both detention facilities. Providing family, friends and professional visitors a convenient, accessible way to stay connected with individuals incarcerated within our detention system.

Family and friends can utilize the at-home video visitation solution through http://www.gettingout.com/ . This allows visitors to conduct their regular visitation sessions through most PCs, laptops, tablets and smartphones (Android or Apple iOS devices) without visiting any of the facilities.

To register for a video visit, go to the http://www.gettingout.com/ website and follow the instructions. Visits can be scheduled between 7:30 am and 10:00 pm.

For attorneys, please visit the website https://www.gtlvisitme.com/app and follow the registration instructions. To complete the registration, a BAR card must be brought to either facility for verification. Once this verification is complete, visits can then be scheduled on the website. Attorney visits have a requirement of 24-hour notice. BAR card numbers can be used as the user ID number when registering.
